Plans, the plan picker and the monthly cutoff

Show the price per box and the saving on every plan, and count down to your cutoff.

Plans as variants

  1. Create your box product and add an option called Plan.
  2. Name the values with the number of boxes first, such as Monthly, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months, and give each its full price (for example $99 for 3 months).
  3. Add the Plan picker section to your homepage and choose the box product. Crate divides each price by the number of boxes and shows the saving against the monthly plan.

Type a plan's name in Most popular plan to highlight it. The Compare plans block on the product page (a comparison table) explains the differences: one row per line, cells separated by |, and yes or no for ticks.

Monthly cutoff

Set your cutoff day in Theme settings → Box schedule for the cart, and in the Box hero section and the Monthly box cutoff product block. Shoppers see "Order within 5d 3h to get the December box", in their own time zone. Use [time], [month] and [date] in the text.

This month's box and past boxes

In This month's box, add one item block per product in the box with its value: Crate adds them up to show the box value. Past boxes takes an image, month and title per box.
