Personalization, color swatches and delivery estimates

Let shoppers add a name or photo, pick a color and see when their order arrives.

Personalization

  1. In the theme editor, create a product template for personalized products (for example personalized) and add the Personalization block.
  2. Set the text field label and maximum length, the choices (such as Classic, Script, Bold) and, if you like, a photo upload.
  3. Assign the template to your personalized products.

Everything shoppers enter is saved on the order as line item properties, which you see in Shopify admin and most print apps receive. Uploaded photos are stored by Shopify (JPG or PNG, up to 20 MB). The live preview places the text on the main image; set its position, size and color in the block. It's an approximation, not a print proof.

Color swatches

Name your color option Color and give each color variant its own mockup image; choosing a swatch switches the photo. If your colors aren't linked to Shopify's color swatches, list them in Theme settings → Product cards → Color swatches, one per line, such as Navy: #22304A.

Delivery estimate

Add the Delivery estimate block and set how many working days printing and shipping take. It shows ordered, printed and delivered dates in the shopper's own calendar.

Bundles

Add Quantity offers (such as 2 items, save 10%) and create matching automatic discounts in Discounts → Amount off products with a minimum quantity, applied to your T-shirts collection.
