Product page blocks and specifications

Arrange product page blocks and show a specifications table from a product field.

Product page blocks

In Customize, open a product page and click Product information. You can add, remove and reorder blocks: vendor, title, price, variant picker with swatches, buy buttons, icons with text, pickup availability, description, collapsible rows, specifications, share, custom Liquid and app blocks.

Specifications table

  1. Go to Settings → Custom data → Products → Add definition.
  2. Name it Specifications, set the key to custom.specifications and the type to Multi-line text. Save.
  3. On each product, fill in one spec per line as Label: Value, for example Battery: Up to 40 hours.
  4. Add the Specifications block to the product page if it isn't there yet.

Products without the field show nothing, or the block's fallback text if you set one.
