Set up your homepage

Add, reorder and edit homepage sections in Shopify's theme editor.

Every block on your homepage is a section you can change without code.

  1. In Online Store → Themes, click Customize on Kinetic.
  2. Click a section in the left sidebar to edit its text, images, links and colors.
  3. Drag sections by their handle to reorder them.
  4. Click Add section to add a new one, for example Promo grid or Testimonials.
  5. Click Save.

Each section has its own Color scheme and top and bottom spacing, so you can alternate light and dark bands down the page.

Tip: turn on Section outlines while you learn the editor.
